Music of the Day

Crazy Love by Poco.

This is one of those songs that I often find myself humming, not a passing obsession but one of my all time favorites. Enjoy!

The thing about Myspace ...
....... is that it allows you to see exactly how many of your ex-boyfriends have since come out.

Quick, someone tell me that this has nothing to do with me being a poor representative of the female gender, or my fate as a Jewish woman, but rather something along the lines of me being the sort of person who makes people feel safe in themselves, and that our time together inspires them to be who they really are.

Hmmm. Actually, I buy that.

No really.

Ok, nevermind, I'm good now.

Thank you!

Just TRY not to chair dance.
You can TRY to hold still, but you won't manage it. I promise.

Jump in the line by Harry Belafonte

Today's music was suggested by my wonderously, delightfully batshit crazy cousin (runs in the family?) Jordan. Thank her as you dance. And you WILL dance.

I'm totally digging my Myspace page today.
(Which you can see here.)

For one thing, My Homie in Sales told me that in this picture, I look like I'm about to "steal some high ticket items."
Which is exactly the look I was going for! Yay! (That only sounds like sarcasm, it isn't.)

And while I have no idea what the Scythian Empire is/was, I love that someone was moved enough by it to write a song about it. A prettypretty, dose of happy song.

And yes. I DO know.
I love myspace bulletins from Coco.

When my myspace page and I are alone, I tell it I love it.
Jonny Opinion says:
I can't like myspace. I just can't, not matter how hard I try.

Sarah Smile says:
I can't like it, but I can't stay away from it.
It's like the mistress you never stop seeing, but never marry.

Jonny Opinion says:
I begrudgingly have a myspace page, only because if I didn't, I'm afraid I might stop existing.

Sarah Smile says:
Yes, keep your page, having you in my top friends makes me look cool.

Jonny Opinion says:
Sure about that?

Sarah Smile says:
Of course.
You're famous.
You have a fan club.

Jonny Opinion says:
Am I?
Then why doesn't anyone throw their knickers at me?

Sarah Smile says:
I do, but I can't throw that far.
You're famous, just not locally.
Like Jesus.

Flu Report
Today I hacked up flem that splattered across the tissue in exactly this shape.

Which turns out to be my name in Chinese.

I don't know what it's a sign of, but it's obviously a sign of something.

On a completely unrelated note, while searching on myspace for an old high school friend, I found this picure, which is not my friend, but which I dearly love, mostly because of the collective four eyes in this picture, none of them seem to be focusing on the same thing.
