Especially when you eat a piece of sushi with your fingers, then realized there was still paint on those fingers and a little while later Lola's fish come out of the fish tank and ask you to dance the tango. You know. 
So last night we did the primer coat on Lola's guest room while Nick whipped together a stunning set of pantry shelves for her kitchen (I'm becoming convinced that there is nothing my sexy boyfriend can't do.)
We also painted each other a bit.
But eventually we got it done and went to 7-11 to do ballet on the tile floors, because we are, as Lola says, "ballet-ers."

evidently, i don't get it, but at first i thought sushi and paint were the names of lola's fish. which i thought was cute, and then maybe not. for if you name a fish "sushi", will it have issues all its life? especially since i just noticed that the words "sushi" and "issues" are mirror images of one another.
