Note to JM
I read a story once my Maya Angelou, it was the last story in one of her books, and my favorite story she ever wrote. She said after the birth of her first child, she was afraid to let him sleep in the bed with her for fear she'd hurt him in her sleep, but her mother insisted they'd be fine. One night her mother woke her up from a sound sleep and said, "Don't move, just look at yourself." Maya looked down and saw that as she rolled over in her sleep, she had placed her arm in such a way as to create a tent of covers, so her son wouldn't even have a blanket in his face. Her mother said, "When you love something, deep down to your core, you couldn't hurt it. Even when you're asleep."
